Travelling to Pakistan can be a more enjoyable and comforting experience if you visit these top 5 tourism destination I am listing below.

1.Murree

Murree is a wonderful summer resort and hill station of Pakistan. Murree is a famous hill station about 50 km north of capital city Islamabad. Major spot for tourist attraction drawing up thousands of visitors in a year.

2.Taxilla

Taxilla is one of the oldest town and archaelagical site . Its situated in Rawalpindi district of Punjab. It contains ruins of Gandhara period and Gandhran architecture.

3.Khewra Salt Mines


Khewra Salt Mines are one of the oldest and second largest salt mines of the world. Its located in Khewra,Punjab. Its a major tourist attraction of Pakistan.

4.Mohenjo-daro(Mound of the Dead)


Mohenjo Daro is an archaeological site of Indus Valley Civilization. Its one of the oldest site site built around 2600 B.C.  This is contemporary to the ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia. Mohenjo-daro is located in the Larkana District of Sindh, Pakistan. This is designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Makli Hill

Makli Hill is one of the largest necropolises of the world. It is supposed to be the burial places of around  125,000 people of different walks of like such as local rulers, sufi saints and others. Makli Hill is located in the outskirts  of city of Thatta, Sindh.

Pakistan is a country with rich national heritage. Its cities are the identity of that Pakistani cultural heritage. Here I list the top 5 cities of Pakistan. These cities are considered the hub of cultural and business activities.

1.Karachi
Biggest city of Pakistan. It has population of around 1,300,0000 ( Thirteen Million) This city is the hub of business activites and is backbone of Pakistan economy. People of all over come here to live and earn their living.

2.Lahore
This is the city of historical value. Pakistan's cultural capital. Major landmark of Pakistan are in Lahore such as Badshahi Mosque and Minar-e-Pakistan. It has population more that 10 million according to a 2010 estimate.

3.Islamabad
Islamabad is the federal and political capital of Pakistan. Pakistan's major institutions are situated in Islamabad. National Assembly, and Supreme Court are in this city. PM and President house are also in Islamabad.

4.Faisalabad.
Formerly known as Lyallpur, Faisabad is the third biggest metropolitan city of Pakistan after Karachi and Lahore. Faisalabad is the industrial and important city of Pakistan.

5.Rawalpindi
Home to the General Headqurters of the Pakistan Army, Rawalpindi is the fourth largest city of Pakistan. This city also houses the many top educational institution of Pakistan such as College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering .
